The following section is broken out into 6 parts. In order to receive your Georgian Bay Sustainable seal, marketing package and the 10% Discount off of registration, you must accumulate 10 points. One point is awarded for each item. By taking this pledge you are given twelve months to complete your tasks you have set out to do. Research the traditional land you are located on, and learn how to pronounce it. Find your location via the website Whose Land.

A land acknowledgement is a powerful statement to make, if you feel the call to acknowledge Indigenous Territories in your region it is recommended you review

Establish partnerships with local businesses, promoting the local eateries, cafés, shops and hidden gems.

Donate unused materials or unopened food to a local charity or food bank, located in MacTier or Port Severn. Find the details here.

Hire a local artist to design and create something unique at your property. Or purchase artwork from a local artist.

Provide educational materials or brochures on local sustainability initiatives, eco-friendly activities, and responsible tourism in the Georgian Bay Area.

Create a newsletter or share the Georgian Bay Times Newsletter to showcase what is happening locally.
